A new game for the NES!

(disclaimer, no, it's not actually, it's more in spirit for the NES)

XOL, a single axolotl out to adventure a vast mountain in the sea, is it a mountain at all? Collect abilities to explore more of the world!

KEYBOARD CONTROLLS:

D-Pad: Arrow Keys

A: Z key

B: X key

Select: Shift key

Start: Enter key

X-BOX CONTROLLS:

D-Pad: Left Joytick

A: A button

B: X button

Select: Select

Start: Start

(Best played with a controller, and best to zoom into the game at 175%)

This game was made for the Lost Cartridge Jam 3, it was made in 2 days, by myself.

Thanks for playing! I agree on the ending, I wanted to add some little story bit or just something to satisfy the player. I'll definitely do something with this game once the game jam is totally over.

Oh wow! Thanks for commenting, that's funny, the fact that we both are making a similar game. I wish you luck on making your Axolotl themed metroidvania (because metroidvanias are hard to make, at least for me)
